BACKGROUND
In 2009, author and speaker Barb Greenberg founded Rose Path Press, and that same year, Rose Path Press published the book After the Ball, which was created through a collaborative effort of Barb and book development/ book marketing consultant Joan Holman.
W.OW. (Women of Words)
Barb had been regularly attending monthly lunch meetings of W.O.W. (Women of Words).This group of women writers had guided Barb as she wrote the story that would become the book After the Ball, offering support, encouragement, and creative ideas - all while sharing a great meal! When Joan came one month as a guest, Barb immediately recognized she was someone very special.
Book Collaboration
Barb asked Joan to consult on her After the Ball manuscript, and a wonderful partnership began. With Barb's thoughtful and inspirational story, and Joan's unique combination of artistic sensitivity, her strong marketing and business background and her extensive experience in book development and publishing, After the Ball developed into more than a new fairy tale.
It became a beautiful book that resonates with all women and will enhance the lives of all who read it. Barb and Joan both also want to thank Robin Lutes of The Pixel Factory. Robin is a freelance designer and layout artist, and she was an indispensable member of the team effort to produce this book. Just like the heroines in After the Ball, Barb and Joan have become the best of friends and are traveling together on their journey of life. Both Barb and Joan live in the greater Minneapolis-St.Paul, Minnesota metro area. Both Barb and Joan are dedicated to helping women become the heroines of their own stories.
